That's because Inogen's Satellite Conserver takes control of the conserving function, eliminating the need for the patient to remain close to the concentrator. The Satellite Conserver then acts as a remote control to the Inogen One and can be discretely placed in a pocket, clipped onto a belt, or worn like a necklace.
